Early Cricket Career Of Shardul Thakur:

Shardul Thakur had a great interest in cricket since childhood. His house was in Palghar, about 100 kilometres away from Mumbai. Initially, Shardul used to travel by Mumbai local train every morning for practice.

However, after a few days, his coach Dinesh Lad asked him to stay in his house. Then Shardul stayed there and started taking training. In 2006, he attracted people’s attention by hitting 6 sixes in 6 balls in a cricket match at school.

ODI cricket-

After consistently amazing performances in first-class cricket in 2016, Shardul Thakur was selected for the Indian team to tour the West Indies, but he did not get a chance to play any match there. After which Shardul made his ODI international debut against Sri Lanka on 31 August 2017.

In January 2023, Thakur took a total of 6 wickets in the ODI series against New Zealand. T20 cricket-
