According to the ICC, the new logo reflects the quickly changing events in the shortest format. This new logo includes textures and patterns inspired by the host country hosting the World Cup next year, but it also displays the constant energy in T20 cricket.
The ICC further said that the logo is a creative mix of bat, ball and energy, which is also a symbol of the core elements of T20 cricket. The letters of the word T20 written in this logo are written in such a design that shows the swing of the bat, which has been hit by a ball very fast.
