The report said that IPL CEO Hemang Amin messaged the franchise owners on Thursday morning and told them they would be sent an invitation for a formal meeting with the place and time. It is believed that the meeting can be held in the afternoon or evening of September. At the same time, it is being claimed that all the franchise owners have confirmed their availability for the meeting.

In this meeting, there can be a discussion about changing three rules. According to media reports, there can be a discussion on increasing the duration of the mega auction to five years. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may announce the rules for retaining players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) by the end of August.
